As a teenager I knew computers inside out. Today in my spare time, you’ll still find me adding the latest gadgets to my home, especially if they’re are not well known. The fun is in the experimenting to see what results I’ll get and then how I might tweak it to make it an exact match for my needs. Since I was a small child I have always questioned ‘why do we do that this way, could it be more beneficial if we did this?”. Change can only be a result of questioning, and someone has to pioneer it. As a forward thinker, I am dedicated to finding ways I can implement changes that will serve the global community in the most usable, accessible and uncomplicated format. I am inspired by other forward thinkers like Dr Ken Richardson, whose landmark work on changing the structure of our education system, is provoking serious thought in the global community, about the necessity for change as we look toward a changing world and a new generation of thinkers. I am also inspired by theoretical physicist and futurist Michio Kaku and his ability to use science to predict the future. I admire his strong sovereign opinions that challenge the ‘status quo’, including the theories of his childhood idol Einstein. The three loves of my life (other than my wife and kids) are business, software and technology. I am really interested in how these three things can be fused together to create projects that aim to change the vision people have of their world. It excites me to have a leadership role that gives me the opportunity to collaborate with others who bring their valuable ideas so that I can drive the project for them one step at a time until the idea becomes reality. While it’s always great to celebrate success, I find even more satisfaction in looking back at the journey each partnership I have enjoyed has taken, and the results of what we have achieved together.Happy to connect and bounce ideas off each other and discuss the possibilities of what can be created.
