Red Bear is a Brewpub in DC with a focus on the community and high quality beer, drink, and food. They opened in early 2019, becoming profitable within the first year with over 2 million in sales. As Operations Manager, I am responsible for a wide variety of areas, including HR, Legal, Finances, Technology, Staffing, and more.• Provide direction and guidance to a team of 6 managers and 35 employees. Provide feedback upwards to ownership.• Developed and standardized many of the operational processes including hiring and termination, performance reviews, training, and more.• Developed and setup the entire digital infrastructure and processes used to operate.• Developed, launched, and maintain all technical items, including our payment system, online store, and audio / video. • Work with our vendors to help test and improve the products provided, increasing sales by ~20%.• Produce financial forecasts, budgets, and analyses for regular use to reduce costs and increase profits.• Lead initiatives to drive efficiencies, reducing costs, and improve the customer experience, improving sales.• Developed our business plan used to achieve bank funding to launch.• Lead project management efforts for future expansions into another brewpub and production facility.

Started as an instrumentation engineer on the F-22 Flight Test Bed, within 1 year I moved on to become a flight test director on both civilian and military programs. This experience lead to becoming lead test director on the KC-46 tanker project. Some of my responsibilities included:• Built and maintained the test program schedule of 2+ years.• Lead a team of Test Directors that developed & executed daily test plans for both development and FAA Certification.• Coordinated test crew, airspace, weather requirements, telemetry, and unique testing hardware for many flight tests.• Planned and executed deployments, both international and domestic of many people.• Involved in early planning of each program to assist in determining the most efficient way to test.• Program integration conducted with a number of other organizations, both inside and outside Boeing.• Conducted tests in many over 10 test disciplines, including flight controls, stability and control, takeoff performance, propulsion, and braking.• Developed hundreds of test sequences with focus on safety and optimal utilization of the test aircraft.• Subject Matter Expert for internal test planning tool used by all test team members.• Training team member, involved in training ~25 new test directors.• Aircraft tested: 787-8, 747-400 LCF, 737-AEW&C, 757 Flight Test Bed (F-22), P-8I, KC-46A, and Production 777’s, 767’s, 747’s, and 737’s.

As crew chief, I completed regular and unique maintenance as assigned on the fleet of C-5's and C-17's under my purview. I performed pre/post-flights and other inspections, researched tech data to diagnose and solve maintenance items, and prepared aircraft for their missions doing marshalling, towing, fueling, and more.

As an electrical engineer, I designed and built 4 different test electronics, used to stimulate prototype weapon system inputs. These electronics were meant to induce a large voltage and current input to properly test the new designs.
