Completed graduate-level courses in a multitude of disciplines, developed a research proposal, and presented my research to a panel of PhD holders, arguing the question “should certain films centered on the traumatic Black experience be qualified as horror?”.

Worked alongside the Resident Hall Director and the Office of Residence Life to effectively manage a residence hall as a Resident Assistant and Executive Board Member. Created and facilitated resident and executive board programs, first-aid and emergency situation training, and completed administrative work (filing, communications, organizing, and semester reports).

Partnered with Brown University to learn and practice library preservation and conservation techniques for special collections and archives; and attend seminars, workshops, and networking opportunities. Created and completed a capstone project designing book futons to protect delicate, valuable items.

Developed and implemented a sustainable capstone project focusing on advancing the rights of people and access to reproductive healthcare on college campuses (via Instagram due to COVID-19). Completed workshops about grassroot campaigns, coalition building, strategic campaigning, and in-person canvasing. Worked with Hampton University to host workshops and advocacy activities.
