Hey there! I'm Cameron, your 24-year-old, CCNA certified networking engineer, cybersecurity nerd, cloud connoisseur, and enthusiastic techie in Silicon Valley!My passion is in cybersecurity, computer networks, and all the hardware that comes with it. I started playing with computers in 2002 and have enjoyed working with them ever since. I started with HTML in high school and found my love for computer networking. I taught myself Windows Server for fun thanks to the power of virtual machines, and learned why the world runs on Linux. That being said, if you asked me what my favorite OS is, I wouldn't be able to give you a simple answer. I started as an IT Technician for a local company in my hometown, helping my community solve all their various tech problems. I then transitioned to being an Operations Specialist for Lime in Isla Vista, which was an amazing experience working in the UCSB area managing an IoT vehicle fleet and interacting with the community. COVID was an opportunity for me to move to Silicon Valley to continue my education at San José State University and enhance my networking experience. Coming out of the pandemic, I had the amazing opportunity to intern at Verkada as a Technical Support Engineer and help their mission to protect people and property. As I wrap up my studies at San Jose State University, I am excitedly looking ahead to opportunities to do what I love.
