Upon discovering that the market doesn’t provide a perfect CRM solution to meet the unique language, outcomes and processes of Economic Development, Cameron was tasked with creating one! Microsoft Dynamics CRM was repurposed with custom entities, workflows, business processes, forms and themes. The new solution was built meet the needs of the Small Business Centre, Physician Recruitment and Investment Attraction.

Cameron covered a maternity leave for a well known and well loved local business consultant. During that time, he implemented new systems including adapting SalesForce CRM, started the centre on new social media channels, and improved the lending library. These incremental improvements were made in addition to the regular business of managing the Enterprise Centre’s staff and budget, and conducting one-on-one consultations with prospective business owners.

The Ontario Lung Association’s Youth Advocacy Training Institute (YATI) was initiated in 2005 with funding from Ministry of Health Promotion to provide youth and youth-serving organizations exciting and interactive learning experiences.Cameron was on the initial team supporting the design of YATI’s services and development of it’s initial curriculum. He was directly responsible for managing the Regional Program Coordinators – a staff of training professionals located in community offices throughout Ontario.
