Responsibilities encompass analyzing margin figures and sector/market exposure, optimizing financing and collateral across custodial/Prime Brokerage counterparties, and generating specialized reporting for/responded to inquiries from Traders and Portfolio Managers.Key Projects• Rebuilt and fully automated our free cash management model, analyzing cash balances across multi-primed funds for inefficiencies and advising trades of short-term securities to generate alpha and reduce counterparty risk• Created an automated process that comparing margin rates across prime brokers at a security level in order to determine where we may be able to rerate securities to raise fund excess/buying power• Built customizable reporting using SQL/Microsoft Access and VBA to monitor changes in gross/net exposure by Portfolio Manager in multi-strategy funds• Worked with our Transfer Agent and Wellington IT to test a new automated cash flow estimation system that more accurately predicts the impact of monthly investor cash flows based on daily fund performance

As a Market Development Representative, I worked with the inside-sales team, prospecting new accounts for solar eligibility. I also worked to assist the outside-sales team by identifying decision makers within solar-eligible accounts, and mining their contact information.

As an audit intern, I analyzed client balance sheet and income statement accounts, and am comfortable viewing and drawing conclusions from the comprehensive financials in annual reports and 10Ks. Additionally, I assisted Senior Associates and Managers with internal control testing, and have gained an understanding of the way companies use these processes to achieve their operational objectives.My internship team won the Key Account Competition, which took place within the New York/New England region, and had more than thirty participating teams. We researched a prospective new account that Grant Thornton was pitching, designing a tailored presentation, which we then gave to various Managers and Partners. We devised a business development strategy, and found a way to align the company culture with the core values of this potential client.

In my role as a Co-Founder I preformed estimates for prospective clients, and oversaw the completion of large scale contracts. I also hired high school students as painters and landscapers, serving as both a manager and mentor.NOJS was handed down to a talented employee, and continues to serve Newton and the surrounding towns with superior yard work at a discount price.
