TDIndustries is a Commercial Construction company that specializes in mechanical, plumbing and electrical construction, service and facility management. TD Industries is a large Mechanical Construction and Service Contractor. I am the Safety Manager over the Fort Worth Business Unit. As the FWBU Safety Manger I am responsible for the Safety and Health of the construction and service sections. I perform Site Audits periodically. Maintain records for our business unit. Work directly with Management and Field Labor to implement Safety and Health policies and ensure compliance.

FSI is a HSE Consulting company based out of Bridgeport, West Virginia. As an HSE Consultant I oversaw well sites for Antero Resources. These sites include drilling, completion, and production. I performed daily site safety and site environmental inspections. I assigned corrective actions when needed and ensured completion of the corrective actions. I performed all incident and accident investigations on location.

Kwikset HHI in Denison is a metal manufacturing facility that makes key components for assembling products. Kwikset is a member of the Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) under OSHA. I was responsible for the coordination and assisted managing of the EHS Management System. We practiced Behavior Based Safety as a leading indicator for incidents and accidents. I was responsible for driving the behavior based programs which helped develop the trends in our leading indicators. The coordination and management of our company EHS monthly and annual training programs to ensure the trainings are being completed and are effective was also my responsibility. In the case of an accident I was responsible for ensuring an investigation and root cause analyses was completed. In some cases I coordinated the investigation. I worked with my direct manager in the management of our Worker’s Compensation Claims and coordinated follow-up appointments and scheduling of doctor visits. I maintained our OSHA and Environmental recordkeeping documents and tracked completion and also developed trending analyses on the leading and lagging indicators.

While working with Chapman Construction Co. I developed training presentations specifically relating to the company and its hazards. I also traveled to their various job sites performing training classes, site inspections, accident investigations, reviewing job sites with contractors, etc. While developing the training classes I also gained knowledge in how to interpret various regulations in the CFR’s including the 29 CFR and 49 CFR. A significant amount of the training classes were DOT and CDL safety trainings, while developing these classes I worked closely with the DOT Specialist and various experienced CDL drivers within the company. Some other topics included fall protection, First Aid/CPR, Grounding for Power lines, Heavy Equipment certifications, Heat Stress, and various others in my short time with the Company.
