Key responsibilities:• Stay updated on tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.• Ensure accurate and timely preparation, filing, and payment of VAT returns in compliance with applicable regulations.• Monitor and analyze financial transactions to identify potential tax risks, opportunities, and compliance issues.• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely gathering and reporting of relevant financial data for tax purposes.• Coordinate and manage tax audits, inquiries, and investigations from tax authorities.• Provide guidance and support to resolve tax-related inquiries and disputes, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and minimizing penalties or fines.• Prepare and submit periodic tax compliance reports to management and relevant authorities as required.• Conduct end-to-end internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of financial controls, operational processes, and compliance with regulatory standards.• Plan, execute, and manage audit engagements, including risk assessment, scoping, testing, and documentation.• Prepare comprehensive audit reports detailing findings, root causes, and actionable recommendations for process optimization and risk mitigation.• Communicate audit findings, risks, and recommendations effectively to key stakeholders, including senior management.• Build and maintain strong professional relationships to promote open dialogue and facilitate cooperation throughout the audit process.• Oversee the outsourced accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.• Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, adherence to accounting principles, and compliance with regulatory requirements.• Perform regular reviews and reconciliations of financial records to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
