Business Finance Partner @ Wipro

Handled responsibilities as Business Finance Partner for Accounts based out of APAC Region and was responsible for following activities: P&L Controlling, MIS reporting, Budgetary controls, Contract Management with customers for one of the largest vertical of Wipro in APAC Region. Pricing, commercial structuring of Complex IT deals (involving integration of Infrastructure with Third party software & Services). Have submitted various proposal to clients and gained expertize on Outcome based Pricing. Third Party Vendor management which essentially involves Contract Negotiations, Pricing Negotiations, ensuring of Procure to pay process. The KRA’s here were ensuring that all the vendor payments are executed on time, the order fulfilment is done by Vendor’s within agreed SLA’s and are as per quality norms agreed. Liaising with Banking Partners for issues related to availability of funding, financing requirement like that of Supplier financing, issuance of LC’s, Bank Guarantees’, Receivables Discounting etc.  Revenue recognition of ongoing project which inter-alia involves measurement of percentage of completion of work, assessment of balance to go cost etc. in accordance with relevant GAAP’s, IFRS, accounting and reporting standards.

Designing and maintaining of various MIS and financial reports. Providing reports on Revenue forecast, cost projections, and variance analysis.

The responsibilities were handling of overall operations, managing of day to day affairs related to following activities: --Contributed in improving Branch profitability by suggesting & implementing various cost control measures.--Contributed in developing various MIS and reports by way of excel modelling which subsequently helped in saving man-hours & thus increasing productivity.--Controlling of issuance of NOC’s to customers whose loan gets terminated naturally or by way of foreclosure after having due recoveries.
