As a Data Systems engineer member of the Software Infrastructure Group, I have been tasked with building and developing data collection and diagnostic (UDS) functions systems in the whole vehicle and building parameter extraction and database systems for the cell research groupOur team develops code in android system level to collect data from the whole vehicle in the information hub and responsible for the transfer of the data to the cloud systems. In addition to developing java code to handle communication to receive data from various systems in the vehicle, we also coordinate with Electronic Control Units' Engineers and Cloud Engineers to architect the database systems for the vehicle data and interface to access the data coming from the vehicle for Research and Development and Service departments. We are also developing Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS) in the information hub and building a solid Diagnostic system for the vehicle that is well-connected with the cloud systems.In addition to vehicle data collection and diagnostics, I have been developing data systems for the cell testing group to extract cell parameters from their Reference Performance and Design of Experiments Tests. Work involves python code to extract and store data in mongoDB systems and Django framework coupled with Bokeh plotting library to display the results.
