My group ensured the utilization of best practice models to meet and reduce identified practice gaps. We employed adult learning principles, experiential learning, accepted instructional design models, and scientifically precise content appropriate for the target audience and constructed in accordance with policies and guidelines from the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). To do this, I obtained therapeutic expertise through research and collaboration with academic experts. We generated generated fair and balanced scientific content in live and online formats, collaborated with and trained national and international faculty, and built outcomes measures that predisposed and reinforced key educational points in order to provide metrics of educational impact. In this role, I managed staff, contract writers, and departmental budgets, and interpreted and reported educational results for internal and external stakeholders, conference presentations, and peer-reviewed journals.
