I’m currently participating in a rotation-based internship with Cintas, where I have the opportunity to dive deep into the operations of the First Aid & Safety service, office, and sales departments. One of the highlights of this experience has been leading a sales competition between two service teams, which has significantly boosted my confidence and leadership abilities.In addition to this, I’ve had the privilege of shadowing meetings, interacting with regional directors, and attending impactful events like KAM Appreciation Day and various trainings. I also became First Aid and CPR certified, adding to my growing professional skill set. Through this role, I’ve learned to run key reports, including AR Aging, KPI, and the PRC Workbook, expanding my technical and analytical capabilities.I am incredibly grateful for the knowledge I’ve gained and the support from the exceptional team at Cintas. This experience is pushing me to new professional heights, and I’m excited for the growth ahead.

My Co-Director and I obtain university funding through different funds such as SSF, FAC, FAC travel, etc. Through writing proposals and putting in the work we are granted the funding to send our fellow brothers to conferences around the country! We also are working towards building stronger connections with advisors and other organizations on campus. Through resourceful funds and strong relationships we provide an invaluable resource for our chapter.

Delta Sigma Pi is a professional fraternity centered around the study of business. Which offers both practice and exposure between us as students and the commercial world. DSP represents a strong presence and network at SDSU as well as focuses on giving back to the community. DSP promotes 3 core pillars of brotherhood, professionalism, and commitment and emphasizes them within their member’s persona.

I was the Director of Member Engagement for Spring of 2024, tracking a total of 120 members. I delegated both my attendance policies and being there for my fellow brothers, extending a hand to those in need of guidance. I maintained my general, alternative, altered, and inactive policies following up with brothers in regards to their attendance.

Being a DA for a residence hall we serve as a front line for the safety and security of the students. We also manage our time to completing the duties of the desk, ensuring that our residence is running both effectively and efficiently. We have to be adaptable to any circumstance because being in the environment of a residence hall there are limited times of secured consistence.

We are a student committee through Associated Students at San Diego State who help brand, market, and promote the Associated services, events and news throughout campus. We work with other Associated Student Boards to ensure efficiency, consistency, and clear communication in order to provide accurate information to the students of SDSU.

Organization of first, second and transfer students to collaborate, encourage, and develop our skills and knowledge towards leadership positions. This process includes professional advice to help immerse us into the commercial world.

This summer, I had the privilege of interning with Highway Specialty for over three months. During this time, I gained invaluable insights, practical skills, and a deeper understanding of the commercial sector. I was fortunate to shadow and collaborate across several key roles, including Receptionist, Controller, and Contract Manager, which allowed me to develop a comprehensive outline aimed at improving the efficiency of these positions for the COO.In addition, I contributed to the company’s marketing efforts, creating an online platform to help enhance their digital presence. This experience has been instrumental in refining my analytical, organizational, and communication skills, and I am truly grateful for the opportunity to learn from such a dynamic team.

I managed greeting and signing in the incoming guests daily while also having to collect the orders from customers, taking the payments, and prepping the food. There was a variety of customers each day however I could have up to two hundred transactions in a single shift. I needed to provide a clean, healthy, and welcoming environment for all of the families who came up to the shack. During this position I had to maintain a rigorous work week unaccompanied with fifty to sixty hour work weeks.I as well had to open and close every shift completing a lengthy checklist including preparation and clean up on a daily basis.

When I worked alongside the head of Billing, I assisted her with administering bookkeeping functions to generate invoices and handle accounts payable and receivable. This included using Sage 100 Contractor as well as emailing specific invoices to positions of power.

I helped with up-to-date office duties while providing assistance to any task directed under the COO. This included attending meetings needing to keep organized notes and keep up. I received first hand experience to the corporation of the company through this Assistant position.

When I worked under the head of Payroll, I was provided a list of employers and had to create, scan, and send the bills correctly. Also through the program Sage 100 Contractor as well as the use of Excel.
