About Candace Boesiger

As a learning designer at College of Southern Idaho, I collaborate with faculty to design, develop, and implement effective and engaging assignments, courses, and programs. I apply the knowledge and skills I learned while teaching accounting full-time to help other educators implement impactful learning in their classrooms. I also onboarding all new full-time and adjunct faculty to the institution. I love to create learning experiences that meet the needs and expectations of diverse learners and stakeholders.With over a decade of experience as an accounting professor and a CPA, and now as a learning designer, I have a passion for teaching and learning. I pursed an Ed.D. in Higher Education Leadership with an emphasis in Instructional Design and Technology, which has enabled me to expand my expertise. My dissertation topic focused on creating a campus-wide onboarding process for all adjuncts, and the project went live in January of 2024. I am an active member of the Online Learning Consortium, where I have completed the Institute for Emerging Leadership in Online Learning and participated in various professional development opportunities. My goal is to leverage my credentials and competencies to enhance the quality and accessibility of accounting education and online learning.
