Responsible for managing and executing preparations for all national & international trade shows (40+ per year), events & conferences, company holiday party and dinner meetings. Responsibilities included: venue site selection, negotiation of rates for space contracts, design and implementing event plan including coordinating vendors, procuring meeting materials, and establishing ambiance. Secured and supervised caterers, DJ’s, decorators, photographers and entertainers in the delivery of product and service excellence. Coordinated all travel including airfare and hotel for sales team, high-level executives and President & CEO. Prepared and completed trade show registration/invoicing-payments, sponsorships, marketing materials, and promotional show items for trade shows. Secured equipment and furniture rentals for booth space. Worked directly with shipping department to ensure all marketing materials and equipment were inventoried pre & post trade shows. Selected trade show booth locations to ensure prime location of exhibition.
