I am currently working as a freelance digital marketing and content manager. I specialise in optimizing websites and producing engaging content for web and social platforms.

I developed content strategies and tone of voice for two of Philips’ most successful sub-brands. I then executed the content strategies to create SEO optimised content for our websites, apps, campaigns and CRM programs.Using consumer data and UI best practises, I optimised our websites both for search and our users’ journeys; helping our customers find the best product for them, in the quickest time. I also created landing pages to support our SEO and SEA campaigns. To increase app engagement I produced over 200 articles for new and expecting parents. I set up the content process, hired a team of copywriters, and managed the uploading, tagging and localisation of the content. To help local markets optimise their digital touchpoint I published a guide of digital-ecosystem best practises. This reduced the amount of work markets needed to do, and helped improve campaign ROI. I was also an editor and copywriter for all things digital — Facebook campaigns, app store descriptions, SEO articles, AdWord copy, E-tail content, CRM emails… You name it.

I am a campaign manager for Chevrolet, Cadillac and GMC for markets in Asia and the Middle East. I work with Account Managers and Partners to translate my clients’ requirements into functional lead generation campaigns. I manage the campaign process from brief development, through to set-up, testing, launching and analysis. As a Client Service Manager I oversee the CRM platform and lead management process for GM in European markets, such as Ireland, Turkey, and Poland. This involves making sure leads are processed correctly, the CRM platform is optimised and budgets are met.

In this varied role I get to use both my digital marketing skills and video editing skills to promote our range of training solutions. I generate leads and website traffic through developing and executing online campaigns. My key responsibilities are website management, project management, creating bespoke videos and show-reels, copywriting and managing our advertising. This summer I was production manager and script supervisor for our new video productions.

I produced both written and video content in response to topical financial issues and customer inquiry. I captured the media interest in Gareth Morgan the economist and his efforts to improve the financial literacy of the wider New Zealand public. I identified relevant topics to give comment on so the company benefited inadvertently. I managed other aspects of the company marketing including advertising, press releases, publications and customer communication. I was also involved in project management and relationship management.
