I treasure the years I've spent in my personal and professional life helping others. Very early in my professional career, I was fortunate to be moved into a Human Resources role and now I know why! Working with people takes empathy, integrity, patience, and the ability to inspire. Those skills define everything I do! People matter, They are the most important asset in any organization, and making sure they feel valued and inspired is why I came to Johns Manville. Our company values are built around being a champion of PEOPLE, pushing them to go the extra mile, inspiring them to perform at their very best, and protecting them - as well as the world around them. I feel like I'm the luckiest person ever to be a member of a team that values and inspires people through compensation, performance and development. My role supports our HR Generalists through sound counsel, coaching, and creating strong partnerships that drive growth and profitability for the company. What better person to do that than someone who prides themselves in their ability help people.If you were to look outside of my professional career, you'd see I embrace this same passion for helping others in what I love to do personally. I am a Certified Personal Trainer who has chosen to help aging adults become physically active and stay there. I did that by putting my professional career on hold and going back to school for another college degree and certification program. So, if I'm not at the Rec Center, then you'll find me having fun with my family or talking my friends into a "talk & walk" along the trails of Colorful Colorado. I love building relationships, both at work and in life. I would attribute my greatest wins to my empathetic nature which enables me to come along-side others, wherever they are in life's journey.
