Learned management crisis at a zoo facility when a highly anticipated giraffe past away unexpectedly, causing widespread media attention.

My daily duties included cleaning exhibits, preparing diets, and choosing appropriate enrichment for each animal in an AZA accredited facility. I assisted with the care of North American River Otters, Giraffes, American Bison, Black-Footed Ferrets, Black- Tailed Prairie Dogs, Capybaras, Chacoan Peccarys, a Bobcat, Elk, Golden Lion Tamarins, North American Porcupines, Nigerian Dwarf Goats, Jacob Sheep, Howler Monkeys, Hartmann's Mountain Zebras, Gray Wolves, Nubian Goats, a Prehensile-Tailed Porcupine, Red Pandas, Squirrel Monkeys, White-Faced Saki Monkeys, Poison Dart Frogs, Bald Eagles, a Barn Owl, a Barred Owl, a Burrowing Owl, Chickens, Chilean Flamingos, Macaws, Golden Eagles, Amazons, Vultures, a Box Turtle, and Diamondback Terrapins.
