• Manage corporate communications, serving as the voice of the organization for the CEO, executive boards and CHIME leadership teams; write speeches, presentations, articles, commentaries, letters and other communications for the CEO, board members and senior leadership; provide strategic guidance and action plans for internal and external communications• Ensure that messaging is consistent and on target throughout the organization• Oversee all CHIME publications, including one weekly, one biweekly and two monthly electronic newsletters; maintain the editorial calendar; write and edit articles for publications; identify story ideas and write or engage staff and members as writers for articles, op-eds and contributing writer opportunities; coordinate and produce with other team members an annual report• Oversee media relations; work with journalists in national and trade media; identify editorial and story ideas and identify media placement opportunities; respond to all media inquiries; track media hits; assist media outreach at CHIME events• Work closely with a public policy team in Washington, D.C., on written communications with federal and congressional policymakers; help communicate policy positions with members and media• As a founding member of the CHIME Opioid Task Force, help define mission and scope; oversee internal and external communications; revise and edit CIO Opioid Play Book and other educational materials. • In conjunction with a media partner, write and oversee production of an annual supplement for the CHIME HealthCare’s Most Wired program.• Contribute to marketing and social media campaigns
