I am an aspiring professional with experience in client facing engagement and life sciences. As a Clinical Research Diversity Coordinator, I work with various organizations to help them create strategies to improve representation in clinical trials.I also have experience in patient education and empowerment, chronic care management, and health advising. My previous role working as a Health Advisor created different learning opportunities for me to grow. I am a Kidney and Diabetes Health Coach, and a Diabetes Peer Educator. I am also certified in Adult Weight Management coaching and Mental Health First Aid. I aspire to experience career opportunities that will contribute to my professional and personal growth while allowing me to assist others through positive health outcomes for persons with conditions. I am ardent about working to create change within the American healthcare system, preventative care practices. Focusing on social justice, and empowering communities as well as individuals to address social determinants of health and the impact they have on health outcomes. As an example, I am a co-founder of Health Girl Theory, an organization that strives to supply young people with knowledge surrounding women’s health and well-being while also offering free sanitary products.
