I have a strong commercial focus in protecting and navigating IP, with particular technical expertise in the biotechnology, pharmaceuticals and broader life sciences field. I'm registered to practise in Australia and New Zealand, and I'm experienced in all aspects of patent work including prosecution, opposition, and defending patents, managing patent portfolios, providing infringement and validity advice, drafting patent specifications, and securing patent term extensions for patents covering pharmaceutical products. I hold a doctoral degree in Pharmacology from the University of Melbourne and previously held research positions at the Florey institute (Melbourne, Australia) and Johns Hopkins University (Baltimore, US). I've also studied at the Melbourne Business School and received a Graduate Certificate in Commercialisation.
