I am a private Patient Advocate and CEO of AdvocateATX. I previously worked as an Anatomy & Physiology professor for many years, giving me insight into medicine and medical terminology. I also volunteered at hospitals and clinics to learn many of the intricacies of medicine. I have worked with doctors, nurses and other medical personnel to forge relationships that benefit everyone since becoming a Patient Advocate.I can help with healthcare-related issues like health insurance denials, along with accompaniment to appointments, finding a second opinion and new treatment options, and helping with other issues like medication management. I work directly for the client, not insurance or a hospital. I help to transform medicine into a pleasant experience, allowing patients and medical personnel to build healthy relationships.
