Musical Theater, Jazz, and Tap teacher for the youngins!Dance instructor. Classes included: Tap, Jazz and Musical Theatre. Ages 7-18. I attended a dance convention with the competition team. I choreographed for Summer, Winter and School performances. I taught a Theatre Dance workshop over the summer of 2014 and judged the dance competition team auditions.

I was part of a team of actors that traveled to various local elementary and middle schools throughout the Yuba and Sutter counties promoting the 8 healthy habits in a musical theater style performance. Responsibilities pre and post show included set up and tear down of cords, props, and backdrop.

Dance and musical theater teacher for 7-12 grade students. Classes included beginning, intermediate and advanced jazz and tap as well as an introduction to lyrical and contemporary in the beginning classes and choreography skills in the advanced class. As part of a team of three directors, we organized and produced two recitals a year, various fundraising events, and multiple school activities and performances that included both small groups and full dance department involvement. As the musical theater instructor, I was in charge of touring a Fairytale Theater show to local elementary schools in the Yuba and Sutter counties. Co-Director, Choreographer and Teacher’s Aide for the afterschool drama program at Lincoln Elementary School. Worked with children on character development, blocking, dance technique, vocal instruction, and theatre improvisations and games. We produced 3 plays for the school.
