I am a Chemical Engineering graduate from NC State University with a Biomolecular Engineering concentration and a Biotechnology minor. I have gained biotechnological experience as an undergraduate research assistant, where I genetically modified a thermophile to anaerobically produce acetone at industrially relevant levels, leading to a new and sustainable method to produce acetone. I am PTCB certified, with extensive pharmaceutical knowledge and customer service experience from over 1.5 years as a pharmacy technician at a Harris Teeter pharmacy ranked #1 in the district and #5 in the company. Additionally, I bring four years of computer science experience from a high school internship, where I developed my strong technological skills. As a dual citizen of Norway and the US, I improved my understanding of global cultures during a gap year at a Norwegian Folkehøgskole.
