Specifically head-hunted by an international recruiter, to join the second largest private power plant in Jamaica as the Head of Production and Sales of electrical power to the national grid. The core accountability included the management of the production output and efficiency to ensure maximum return on the investment for the stakeholders. During the tenure, efficiency improved by 20% and revenue by 15%. The areas of impact included:1. The design and management of all capital investments, fixed and variable cost expenditures. 2. Oversight of all plant operations and maintenance activities (including facility and fleet maintenance), 3. Inventory oversight (including spares lubricants, and fuels)3.
