In my current role as associate vice president of development, I manage UVU's development team, which consists of directors of development, annual giving, planned giving, prospect development, and alumni relations. These departments are the front-facing fundraisers for the university and play a pivotal role in UVU's current EverGREEN comprehensive campaign. Prior to the AVP role, I was the senior director of development and managed the fundraising efforts for the student affairs division by creating and advising advancement strategies, cultivating and stewarding donors, and engaging the community in various partnerships and support for UVU students. I also managed other directors of development who were embedded in the university's schools and colleges as well as athletics. Previous to my work in advancement I served as executive assistant to UVU President Matthew S. Holland for eight years and was the assistant to the vice president of academic affairs from 2009-2010. Prior to coming to UVU, I held multiple positions simultaneously with a private company from 2006-2009 in the following capacity; mortgage lending, capital funding, account controller, trucking manager, and office manager. I received my Masters of Public Administration degree in 2018 from the Marriott School of Business at Brigham Young University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Utah Valley University in 2013.
