I'm Candice, a multifaceted woman, and creative entrepreneur! I've always known I had a passion for helping women but didn't always know how I would. With goals of becoming a gynecologist, I attended the University of Central Florida, and completed my degree in Biomedical Sciences but quickly realized my passion for medicine was not great enough to pursue it as my lifetime career. Unfulfilled and seeking a creative outlet, I started a YouTube channel showing young girls like myself how to care for their natural hair and fast forward 5 years, my platform and passion for helping women have grown far beyond I ever expected it to. My social media platforms now serve as a safe space young women and girls to learn and grow together. I put my vulnerability at the forefront of my platform and pride myself on being a source of positivity and authenticity, sharing all I know as I, myself, grow into womanhood. As the amount of support of my social channels grew, the question of what I would do with my influence grew louder. “How will you choose to use your platform? Who will you choose to center?”. Eventually, the answer became clear. It was not just natural hair or makeup or fashion. My purpose was in using my influence to center everything that it is to be young, black and a woman and out of that sentiment, Everything She Is Co. was born.
