Since joining ITW I have received 3 promotions. I was initially hired as an HR Generalist within the Automotive Division where I was promoted to Sr. HR Generalist then HR Business Partner. There I oversaw 2 facilities and a total of 85 employees across 2 sites. In 2022, I was promoted to an HR Manager within the Medical Division over 2 facilities, over 200 employees and HR Generalist direct report.Throughout my time with ITW, I have ensured strategic plans for all facets of HR from talent acquisition, talent development, succession planning, organizational design, managerial coaching, safety programs, employee relations, change management, employee engagement, and diversity & inclusion programs are developed and aligned to exceed our organizational goals while providing a positive employee experience for our team members. I have achieved many accomplishments in these varied areas of HR through fostering strong relationships with my business leaders.

In this role I was a strategic HR partner, an employee champion and a change agent. I assisted corporate departments including Engineering, Finance, IT, Purchasing, Sales and Program Management achieve their objectives set forth by the organization through recruiting ideal candidates from entry level engineering to Director level roles, ensuring training plans were in place to guarantee the successful onboarding of new hires, advising on employee development and employee relations including up to termination, creating and defining career paths, full cycle management of a Leadership Development Program including but not limited to selection and placement of candidates and champion as well as member of high level Operational Action Plans in regards to corporate wide initiatives.

Full cycle recruiting utilizing Ultipro HRIS/ATS for all non-clinical and clinical roles for multiple hospitals and clinic locations, management of weekly staffing committee meeting and responsible for all reports in relation to tracking and reporting recruiting metrics. Promoted from HR Specialist where my primary responsibilities included payroll administration, health system wide monthly new hire orientation, non-clinical recruiting, benefit and unemployment backup.

Responsibilities included payroll administration utilizing ADP, health care benefit coordination for a self-funded plan through BlueCross BlueShield, full cycle recruiting utilizing Taleo ATS for all County openings, new employee orientation, coordination of pension/retirement benefits through Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF), COBRA administration utilizing a third party vendor, managed all unemployment claims which were reimbursable, conducted all exit interviews and assisted any and all county employees with general HR questions.
