I am an experienced, skilled physical therapist whose passion for helping individuals to improve their health and well being is only surpassed by my desire to assist in the development and growth of clinicians in order to ensure the provision of optimum care.I have seventeen years of experience working in a variety of settings, both as a clinician and in a supervisory role, which has provided me with the opportunity to develop strong skills as a team player and a leader. In both roles I have learned how to be adaptable and think creatively in order to assist my clients in achieving their goals. I excel in communication and providing education both on a professional level to fellow healthcare providers and on the level of a lay-person so that it is accessible to my clients and their families. My varied clinical experience has provided me with the opportunity to provide individualized hands-on care for restoration of optimal physical function in individuals with various neurological illnesses and injuries. I have extensive experience in treating the whole person from a neuromuscular stand-point – addressing not only the primary injury or disease process, but also focusing on strengthening and training supporting structures and functions to achieve optimal outcome. My clinical training has included extensive use of neurorecovery technology including Restorative Therapies Functional Electrical Stimulation devices and Ekso Bionics Eksokeleton.
