 Corresponded with billing coordinators from eleven offices on daily basis through email and phone to ensure continued maintenance of billing database. Designated as sole person responsible for maintaining BSC database used for billing. Received and resolved questions or issues regarding BSC billing system. Developed handbook for operation of BSC system, creating a checklist designed to minimize coding errors.  Prepared materials and conducted training sessions on operation of BSC medical billing software, required by all upper-level management staff to attend. Assisted Chief Financial Officer and Director of Billing in compiling information and processing reports for monthly audits. Maintained strong working knowledge of ICD-9, CPT, and HCPCS codes and HIPAA laws
