Managing the front end associates and serving customers assuring everyone has what is needed to perform jobs tasks and efficiently serve customers. Tasks include scheduling associates breaks, lunches and work areas Doing daily reports and functions such as Hazmat report/ Item replinishment report/cycle counts Overriding products as needed and military overrides Assuring mgmt is called as minimally as possible Resolving any issues on employee/customers end as needed Running a register/ loading customer products as needed Putting out and retrieving cash drawers and replenishing as needed Coaching associates and daily observation reports Maintaining a clean and safe work environment putting out store stock/snacks/drink/end cap add ons

Ensure all associates deliver world class customer service Manager store associates and store operations to grow sales and profitability of their stores Communicate with store associates to maximize efficiency, productivity, and profitability Partner with local communities for marketing events such as mailers, promotional booklets, flyers, and signage Hire and train associates to deliver great store conditions in accordance with Petsense standards Instruct store associates on job responsibilities on an ongoing basis Manage inventory levels through proper cycle counts and physical inventory processes Supervise the pricing of product set forth by store support team Partner with store support to investigate potential loss prevention issues and take disciplinary action when necessary Manage and schedule associates to deliver great customer service and achieve payroll budget Ensure cash drawers and vault counts are reconciled accurately on a daily basis Supervise, receive and examine deliveries for discrepancies and resolve issues promptly Interview and hire store staff Enforce and take disciplinary action when company policies are violated if needed Assign daily duties and supervise store staff to ensure smooth daily operations Conduct performance evaluations for store associates in accordance with policy
