I represent the Central Business Resilience function in Old Mutual by providing support & assistance to business segments and countries, where required, and embed the organizational Business Resilience and Crisis Management Policy and Practices into the culture of the organisation. I make recommendations, prepare and compile relevant reporting, and manage priorities of operational and technical delivery. In the role of Business Continuity Coordinator for Customer Servicing in the Capability Cluster of Old Mutual, I ensured that all business units comply with business continuity compliance and testing. I extracted data from the Toolkit linked to these activities and reported on the outcomes. I have over 20 years experience in the travel industry, starting out as a travel consultant, working in finance as a team leader, and then in a corporate environment where I managed the MIS function and BSP. In addition to this I was a super-user for the online tool which we used. This included organizing and facilitating training in addition to my other responsibilities and functions. My knowledge of the online tool includes integration into our corporate systems and some understanding of API connections.I have many years of experience in leading a team in a corporate environment where I am involved with performance appraisals, tough conversations and general day to day management.I am currently studying Business Informatics through UNISA
