My accomplishments and projects thus far include: • Reviewed data from a national survey to develop long-range plan for alumnae engagement• Developed "SKill Up" webinar series to provide personal and professional development education utilizing alumnae voices• Created new communication targeted to soon-to-be graduates, as well as quarterly program newsletters for alumnae to grow program attendance• Led a nine-month work group on developing plans for the sorority’s 150th anniversary celebration• Staff lead on planning and carrying out all aspects of nine “celebration tour” events throughout the country• Received a grant for career development program targeting upperclassmen and young alumnae• Oversee award application and review process for individual alumnae, chapters, “35 Under 35” and national awards• Collaborated with finance team to develop a new process for collecting alumnae dues, resulting in an increase in revenue and decreased staff workload Show less

Some of my favorite projects and successes:• Created BearTalks, a speakers bureau of volunteers who educate students and alumni on skills needed post-college• Instituted Dinner with Eight Bears networking program engaging 250 alumni volunteers and 900 students• Developed internships to assist with Dinner with Eight Bears and a nationwide service campaign• Coordinate the Speed Networking Event, developed in conjunction with the Career Center• Advise the Student Alumni Association, a student organization that helps advance our mission through university events, fundraising initiatives, and assisting at special events• Instituted the “Be a Bear” shirt program, raising over $45,000 for scholarships in six years Show less
