Candice Flows LLC is an innovative consulting and performance-based company grounded in joy, healing, affirmation, and expression.  We specialize in educating and enhancing the performance and skill training of movement-based artists as well as individuals seeking to re-engage with movement. We achieve this by leading engaging workshops, building a community of passionate movers, and collaborating with organizations as facilitators, artists, and consultants.  Our approach is grounded in an interdisciplinary systems perspective, incorporating a three-tiered support system.Candice Flows LLC offers both live and virtual performances. Our movement repertoire is diverse, including Traditional West African Dance, Hip Hop, Contemporary Modern, HBCU style dance, and movement inspired by the African Diaspora (Amapiano, Afrobeat, Dancehall, etc). We go beyond dance performance to offer yoga instruction, choreographic work, movement exploration, skills enhancement, mentorship, event hosting, and more. We also provide artist development services for young people, elders, and emerging artists.Our Pedagogy: Our learning approach is enjoyable and transformative, building trust between educator and participant. We offer supportive yet challenging instruction, emphasizing love, enrichment, accountability, and intentionality. We create safer spaces for vulnerability and growth, assuring participants their best interests are our priority.
