About Candice Muñoz
Whether it is speaking, writing, filming, or photographing, I use my skills to connect to people, and encourage them to think beyond themselves, as well as, their current circumstances. It is through learning from storytelling that has the capacity to impact lives. I developed my video and photography skills in undergrad, at St. Edward’s University, and further honed them while working with my comedy troupe, the Whispah Sistahs, in New York City. While in NY, I attended Sarah Lawrence College, where I received my master’s in Creative Writing. I am always looking for a story, to capture it, to explain it, to share its significance, in order to, as the character in my children’s book, Ruby Ruben, would say, enable people to “look at the world a little bit differently.”
