Chief strategist and senior advisor to the President as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team (ELT). Responsible for providing strategic guidance and support to the President to advance the College's goals, governmental relations, institutional process improvement opportunities, planning, and communications. Serve as a key liaison between the President and various internal and external audiences (local, county, state, and federal), fostering and sustaining positive, cross-functional relationships, collaboration, and communication to raise the College’s profile and develop synergistic partnerships to the benefit of the College and its students. Oversee daily operations within the Office of the President and work collaboratively with the broader Executive Leadership Team in executing strategic projects to meet institutional goals across all areas of the College to ensure efficient organizational functioning and implementation of the President's vision and priorities.

Senior level administrator responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating access and retention strategies with an emphasis on closing the achievement gap for first-generation, low-income, and traditionally underserved populations. Responsible for the supervision, direction, and vision for the departments of Career and Academic Advising, Adult Services, Multicultural Student Services, Services for Students with Disabilities, Veteran and Military Services, and the Center for Student Engagement.

Responsible for development and implementation of academic and support service programs for first generation and limited income (FLI) students as well as students with disabilities. Assist in campus-wide programmatic and outreach efforts to improve the student experience and student outcomes for FLI and underrepresented populations.

Senior administrator for program planning and policy formation for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management (SAEM). Full responsibility for strategic visioning and planning of university-wide student success and retention initiatives including the implementation of the new Student Success Center. Areas of supervisory, programming, and budgetary responsibilities included Academic Advisement, Registrar’s Office, Student Success Programs, and Veteran’s Affairs.

In addition to the below responsibilities as Director of MCAS, this position was responsible for the administration of student success initiatives in the Division of Diversity & Inclusion/Office of the President which included: Arthur O. Eve Higher Education Opportunity Program (HEOP), TRiO Support Student Services, McNair Scholars Program, Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP), and the Future Stewards Program. Direct responsibility for the development and implementation of strategic initiatives aimed at the recruitment, retention, and engagement of diverse student populations.

Taught one or two undergraduate level courses in the School of Mathematical Sciences primarily Algebra, College Algebra, and Pre-Calculus each semester.

Responsible for the multicultural center serving over 500 affiliated students. Full responsibility for the organizational development and implementation of policy, strategic planning, programming, and fundraising initiatives. Areas of supervisory, programming, and budgetary responsibilities include MCAS Scholars Program, MCAS Summer Bridge Program, National Action Council for Minorities in Engineering (NACME) Scholars Program, and Rochester City Scholars Program.

Served as chief administrative officer for diversity and inclusion efforts on campus. Coordinated a complex, interdepartmental series of support services aimed at the recruitment, retention, and engagement of diverse faculty, staff, and students.

Responsibilities: Provided direct assistance to the Director of Sharpe Community Scholars Program in planning and management efforts by presenting formal recommendations and providing administrative support in grant writing, student advisement, and course grading.
