So I dove headfirst into the world of cult recovery and discovered that, not only did it explained the trauma I’d experienced in my late twenties and thirties, it held the key to a door that I’d been banging on since I was a child.On TDP, my guests and I talk about the everyday labor of self-expression, unpack the ‘cult’ure of self-help, and brave sweaty-palm truths that restore our humanity.⁠ ⁠We stop pretending.
