Working in a team of 11 Windows Server and Cloud Engineers performing Level 3 BAU and Project work all around implementing Windows Server and Cloud based solutions on behalf of our clients which includes most of the Victorian government Departments as requested. Working very closely with Project Managers and customers on delivering these Client Projects as a specialist technical Windows resource.Responsibilities Include:Deployment & configuration of Virtual Windows 2012, 2016 & 2019 servers for our Customers on: • Microsoft Azure Cloud • VMware vSphere on SDDC • AWS CloudWindows Active Directory and Domain Controller (DC) Operating System Upgrade Projects• Active Directory Domain Controller Installations including Forest and Domain Levels upgrades.• Upgrading Windows domain controllers from Windows 2003, 2008, 2012 to 2016.• Virtualization of physical Domain Controllers in VMware and Azure Cloud.Asset Refresh of Customer Server Environments• P2V of physical Servers to Virtual Machines into VMware, Azure and AWS Cloud.• V2V server migrations.• Decommissioning of legacy server hardware.• Installing and configuring HP Blade Servers and HP C7000 Enclosures.• Writing up of Design documentation for department HP c7000 Blade Enclosures. Large Customer Group Data and Home Folder Migrations• Performing large data migrations across for most of our government departments• Implementing DFS structures & name spaces within government department for sharing of data.• Creating and modify login scripts for user departments.• Applying Security Access Restrictions across all folder and files to only those that required access.

Working in a team of 10 Windows Enterprise Administrators across APAC, the Americas and EMEA regions supporting 3000+ Windows Active Directory Infrastructure servers globally. This involved performing large scale Project work and Level 3 BAU support on all our Windows Server technologies. Responsibilities Included:• Upgrading Windows Servers from 2000 & 2003 AD domains to Windows 2008 R2. • Role Based Access Control (RBAC) in our Windows AD environment.• Configuring, supporting & designing DNS, WINS, DHCP, DFS & Print Servers globally.• Coordinating, managing & implementing Microsoft Security patching deployments on globally.• Group Policy Object (GPO) creations and deployment across all environments.• Performing AD Schema and FSMO role changes and Installing Domain Controllers.• Wintel Disaster Recovery project co-ordinator and implementer for Australian Site.• Microsoft Systems Management Server(SMS) Software Package Deployment Administrator for AU.• L3 troubleshooting & problem analysis for all HP server hardware & Windows OS's globally.

Responsibilities Included:• Heavy involvement in Data Center relocation projects.• Project managing the yearly Data Center power downs due to electrical building maintenance.• Managing Data Center power, ups, data cabling, security requirements and capacity planning.• Monitoring and supporting the Data Center Environmental Monitoring System 24 x 7.• Managing the Melbourne Tape Backup System using our Veritas NetBackup Software.
