I was born and raised in Taiwan by a Taiwanese mother and an American father. I am proud of my Taiwanese heritage and how it shaped me with honor, integrity, compassion, and courage of conviction to uphold principles. Nothing was handed to me, nothing came easy, and I remember every step I had to take to get here. I am well-versed in the hardships of underserved and underrepresented communities. Every step made me who I am today.I came to the United States as a teenager to start a new life.I received a B.S. in Advertising and Journalism from the University of Florida and graduated magna cum laude. I attended the University of Miami School of Law and was admitted to the Florida State Bar in 2003.I began my career representing insurance companies which ultimately gives me a unique advantage while aggressively and passionately representing my clients in the State of Florida. I am a recipient of the 2022 Elite Lawyer and Lawyers of Distinction awards.I am the managing partner of Cernitz Law and helped my husband and partner build it completely organically without social media, marketing, or much of a digital footprint. We were 100% word of mouth and referrals and are proud of what we built on this, the most solid of foundations... Now we are charging through the digital age ferociously and expanding out as far as the internet can touch.I am a #mom, #wife, #attorney, #friend, #animallover, #foodie, #traveler, and #communitybuilderIn my personal time, I’m a complete family person. I have an amazing husband and a beautiful son (both inside and out). We love food, travel, adventure, entertaining, and golf. I am a HUGE animal lover!!Our motto is “We love to live, we love to love and we love to laugh.” We love exploring the world and different cultures, foods, etc. because it only enriches who we are and provides so much perspective, which is an important ingredient to living a fulfilling and happy life.
