My focus and drive to change my family's legacy began when I saw my first Compaq Presario legacy computer. The huge CRT monitor, black and white DOS interface and floppy disks were the "coolest" things I had ever seen. I was only 10, but that moment sparked my curiosity and ignited my pursuit of a career in technology.In 2013, I graduated as the sole Evening University student from the University of the West Indies with a B.Sc. in Information Technology who achieved First Class Honours. I was the first of my family to acquire a tertiary level education and to be awarded such a commendation.Prior to that I've held several varying roles in Customer Service, Sales, Procurement and Administration which fostered my unique blend of business acumen, strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset.Since 2014, I’ve proactively managed the technology portfolios of a 250+ international SMB client base at ROSE IT Services Limited with customer-centric mindfulness. I identify our customer’s pain points before they become a problem and practically leverage technology to implement strategic solutions that saves our clients time and money. To date, I’ve resolved 7,000+ technical issues which amounts to approximately 58% of all issues logged since the company’s inception in 2011. My passion for technology and effective problem solving skills bolstered me into a managerial position in less than 2 years. I frame each new challenge as an opportunity to learn and grow which unrelentingly fuels my motivation.As I persistently strive for excellence in my life, my intellectual curiosity drives me to be a lifelong learner.
