CurrentCommunications AdvisorAs a member of the leadership and administrative teams of the Leduc Beaumont Devon Primary Care Network, I am responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of strategic communications plans for the PCN. In this role, I work collaboratively with our teams and physician members to develop and disseminate program-specific communications tools. A key aspect to this role is to develop integrated, community-based strategies to ensure our stakeholders are aware of PCN programs and services. Key responsibilities: • Member of Leadership Team, Project Management and Change Management Committees.• Develop internal and external communications, media and social media plans aimed at promoting the LBD PCN within our targeted audiences. • Write content and manage company website www.lbdpcn.com, blog www.lbdpcn.blogspot.com, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn accounts.• Develop content and graphics for various internal and external communications materials including program materials, posters, brochures, physician, public and staff newsletters, HUTV Patient Education System, media releases, news articles and annual reports.• Organize continuing medical education opportunities for our member physicians and allied healthcare staff.• Build and maintain relationships with our stakeholders.• Plan and organize special events such as media engagements and Annual General Meetings.Professional Conference Panel and Speaking Engagements:Primary Care Networks Provincial Communications Conference: • Edmonton Zone, 2018• Media relations, 2016• Patient Attachment, 2015• PCN Evolution strategy, 2014• Panel member – Communications and PCN Evolution, 2013• Media relations, 2012Facilitator at provincial PCN Communications Conference in communications strategy discussion, 2013.Accelerating Primary Care Conference – Banff 2012 – Poster Presentation of EdmontonAreaDocs.ca website.Awards for committee work listed below.
