I am the creator of Candy's Peppers. This product grew out of the necessity to create a hot sauce that wasn't the same old thing. Twenty years ago, most of the hot sauces in the market were vinegar base which is an intestinal irritant. My family begged me to do something about it. Twenty years ago, most of the hot sauces in the market were vinegar base which is an intestinal irritant. My family begged me to do something about it. Can you create something better, something that's not just hot and vinegary? So I went to work. First I started with what flavours I enjoy in food and found that lead me to a vegetable base. I added roots of spices I use daily-ginger, which helps with male nature issues, onions and garlic for blood assistance. I added sweet peppers, that was the “Candy” ingredient and then, all the hot peppers I could find. This first product was called Fire in the Hole because you could smell the hotness before you open the bottle; for those die-hard pepper lovers, that never deters them. It was more flavourful then hot and they just keep eating with nose running and tears rolling down their cheeks. I would have to make batches for friends who wouldn't even share with each another and over the years they begged me to bring it in the marketplace. Well, four grown children and divorce later, I'm ready. There is nothing like it in the marketplace- the consistency is the biggest difference! Although if compare to today's salsa, it is much thicker-so I include a spreader. It can be used as a salsa or enhance your homemade or store brought salsa. It can be added to any sauce for flavouring and can be used as a marinade or added to marinade. It enhances the taste of any food and will not change the flavour of anything you prepare.
