Exploration of Education Policy focuses on the theoretical and practical study of the official and unofficial roles a variety of stakeholders play in influencing, adopting and appraising public policy -- specifically in education. The course also explores the major developments in education reform over the past two decades beginning with an understanding of the federal role in public education and ending the course with a deeper knowledge on how education policies/laws enacted translate to states and local education agencies.
