I was only 3 years old when my father lifted me onto the cocktail table and told me to sing for our dinner guests. Audiences, microphones, cameras? I love them all.I'm a performer: from singer to award-winning radio broadcaster...from public speaker to executive coach and occasional film actress, I've been blessed with a rich and varied career that has demanded great time and sacrifice, but has taught me much and brought me great joy. Perhaps what I'm most proud of is the creation of a public affairs radio program called Exceptional Women. The 30-minute show debuted on Magic 106.7 in 1993 and would go on to become the most successful program produced by and for women on commercial radio in the United States, winning 43 local and national awards. For co-host Gay Vernon and me, the goal was simple: put one woman in the spotlight, ask her a few questions and then sit back and let her shine. Together we interviewed over 600 women from just about every walk of life. The lessons these women taught me are what I treasure the most.My goal as a host/interviewer is to be your connection to women who will inspire you. Along the way, I also created the Exceptional Women Entrepreneur Series and Boston Women in Media & Entertainment's LIVE interview series: The Story Behind Her Success. It's a relief not to be getting up at 3:30AM to do morning drive radio, but I have realized one thing: I can't be without the stories of women doing great things with their lives. So I launched a weekly podcast series called The Story Behind Her Success with Candy O'Terry. Giving exceptional women a platform where they can be heard is my greatest joy and my calling. ActressWild Beagle Productions Sep 2010 - PresentI first met independent filmmaker John DePew and his wife, Executive Producer Judy Coleman after hosting red carpet interviews for their 2009 movie "27 Down" at the Regent Theatre in Arlington, MA. We became friends and when a role for a news reporter in their next film, C02 came up, I was cast. A few years later, John and Judy produced "Lazarus Rising" starring Eric Roberts and cast me again...this time as news anchor Pamela Fontaine. The film would go on to win major independent film awards in 2015 and 2016 including Best Action Film at the Los Angeles Action Film Awards. My most recent project has been playing the role of Marge Shepard in a Wild Beagle Productions short feature called "Shepard's Maiden", starring Lenny Clarke as Frank Shepard. In July, 2016 I was cast as investigative reporter Regina Wilde in Angelwood Production's TV docu-drama "Code 13 Unreadable". In addition, I assist John DePew and his team as a copywriter for new business at Wild Beagle Productions, including instructional on-line video copywriting, TV commercials and commercial radio copy.

My first air shift happened by accident in July 1991 when an overnight DJ fell asleep and got fired. I was the secretary to the program director at the time and he had no one else to put on the overnight...so I got my shot. Ever since that day, I've been in love with radio and rose from secretary to assistant program director, creating the Exceptional Women show along the way. I'm a seasoned singer, voiceover pro, emcee and former co-host of Morning Magic on 106.7. In May 2015 I released my first full length CD "Dream Come True" to benefit a children's cancer charity called Lucy's Love Bus.
