My duties include: overseeing the production of four b-to-b magazines from start to finish; proofreading and copyediting all the material for accuracy, grammar, style and content; assigning and writing articles for one of our magazines; assigning and choosing photos for one of the magazines; developing the annual schedule for each step of magazine production and overall flow of information; managing company relationships with dozens of freelance writers and photographers; handling all the copyrighting issues before and after publication; and working directly with the circulation contractors and the printers to manage our distribution, shipping information and print counts.Through Hendon Publishing, I was also involved with the 2008 launch of a regional Latino lifestyle magazine, Café (www.cafemagazine.com). I assisted in the planning and production of the first issue and continue to consult with the magazine's staff on various copyright, circulation and production issues.
