Strategic Account Executive managing clients as primary contact for retention of local group business throughout Virginia . Review Summary & Trend Reports with existing clients to analyze current trends based on claims experience. Work independently to resolve issues within regulatory and Carrier requirements, ensuring customer satisfaction and escalating issues to Sr. Management whenever appropriate.Support pursuit of new business opportunities with broker/consultant or through a team approach with field office sales staff within my BOB. Attend finalist meetings to demonstrate assigned local Account Management. Expert in all ancillary group basic and voluntary products: Life, AD&D, STD, LTD, FMLA, AI,CI, and HC.Personal visits to clients weekly for overall customer satisfaction commitment. Train and support Consultant/Broker community on Cigna Group Insurance benefits (Life/AD&D/STD/LTD/FMLA/AI/CI/HC) and act as their lead resource for existing clients. I have gained a reputation within the broker community of having strong, credible and positive relationships with Virginia agents of getting the job done.Understand workflow processes and use personal and professional knowledge to make effective decisions and optimize productivity. Responsible for managing renewals, including underwriting negotiation, renewal analysis, client presentations and employee benefit meetings . Coordinate and manage new business implementation and administration activities. Work directly with CGI Sales Reps and Implementation to assure that all aspects of account service run smoothly.Work with CGI Underwriters to negotiate annual client renewals, up sales, alternative plan designs and then deliver final results to clients and brokers monthly.
