A one member HR department:Develop, recommend, and implement personnel policies and procedures; prepare and maintain handbook on policies and procedures; perform benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, annual re-evaluation of policies for cost effectiveness, information activities program, and cash flow.Maintain the HRO connection with payroll company to ensure department heads have up-to-date information for recruits; conduct new-employee orientations; engage in employee relations counseling; writes and places advertisements.Establish and maintain department records and reports. Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings, such as seminars. Maintain company organization charts and employee directory.Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and insures compliance.Responsible for compliance with Federal and State legislation pertaining to all personnel matters.Communicates changes in personnel policies and procedures and insure proper compliance is followed.Assists GM in the annual review, preparation and administration of wage and salary program.

Intermittenly worked as a server for both casual and fine dining restaurants. Service is a natural ability and I enjoy accomodating others in their pursuit of memorable events. I was moved from my role as a server to dining room manager and ultimately HR manager in my current position.
