I am in charge of reviewing all retro level of care hospital reviews , retro case reviews, modifier reviews, all retro transportation authorizations from all ambulance companies, I set up provider meetings and keep work close with all providers daily, I audit case and authorizations once they have been completed daily.

I have learned so much for all the positions I have worked in. I first started here 8 years ago in the Fee for service department and I truly learned so very much, skills I still use today and educate others with that knowledge . I am forever thankful to My former boss Carla Courtney for being the best coding teacher at AVC , then following her to HDMG and I was blessed to work under her and learn everything I know. I then went to QM/HCC dept. we shortly broke into just being the HCC dept. under Cathy Prado who is so very smart and I again learned a so much from her , I am thankful for her making me a lead and being able to help others again. I was then offered a position in the Case Management department which I was happy to be able to go and of course learn more stes of skills, I was first loctaed in our claims department with Debbie Steele helping so I was truly Case management/claims person for a year in which I made soooo many wonderful friends there . I was moved over to Case Management after the year I am still doing all my former job responsibilties and more & I love it. I love the challenge and working with my Care Management family. I love working with Lynda Masco she has been nothing but supportive and kind, and Joe Mooers is the best Manager ever ! I miss our former Director Susan Duncan she has moved on to a job that is better for her. I am excited for what will come next, just having, billing,. coding, modifier review, Hospital level of care reviews, all company retro transportation, retro cases, snf billing, I also do alot of auditing and I set up and work close with a lot of our providers to better have a great working relationship with all companies.
