Technology :Peoplesoft (General Ledger)Duties :• Analyze and propose functional solutions, perform integration tests and provide support during the client’s user acceptance tests phase. Applicable to the maintenance/parametrization, bug fixing and enhancements made to the information system• Going through new requirements to provide estimates and clarifying requirement. Communicating estimates to clients and clarifying any queries with regards to the provided estimates.• Perform quality reviews of change requests before delivery to the client• Ensuring that the backlog and workplan is kept up to date. Communicate risks and escalate issues to lead as and when required.• Ensure that documents are concise with the appropriate level of detail and less technical terms are being used in such a way that customer can understand• Partner with the technical team to oversee and fix any defects or performance problems discovered in testing and make sure that components are fully functional.• Creation of user guides, knowledge management documentation to feed the project’s knowledgebase• Manage overall deployment plan for change requests; including the development plan and schedule• Ensure maintenance activities are in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)• Respect deadlines agreed with the client and internal management for release of change requests.• Ensure all defects and reworks are documented and root causes are resolved to ensure quality of deliverables in timely manner.• Ensure communication from/to the technical architect of any issues that may affect any other areas of the project, through proper impact analysis• Build and leverage reusable code and libraries for future use.• Support and train newcomers on the functional module• Backup team lead, ensuring the smooth running of day to day activities in the absence of the lead• Ensuring on-going skill development and acquisition for self ,i.e. on the GL module and client needs
