If your books are in disarray, I'm the one that fixes it. My specialties are cost-accounting and integrating your tech stack. How many times have you wondered why your sales and marketing platform doesn't just talk to your quickbooks file? My job is to make that happen.

Bookkeeping for a technology-savvy monthly magazine. Truly one of the most challenging and rewarding companies I have ever worked with.

I assisted various clients with full charge bookkeeping through the internal financial statements using the Quickbooks suite of products. I managed a team of six bookkeepers and an administrative assistant, ensuring quality and adherence to best bookkeeping practices. Our clients included tech, real estate, publishing, construction, property management and many others.I closed the business in July 2019, turning over the clients to the team members so that I could have more control of my time and have more time for my family.

I answered questions (in a video blog, or vlog, format) from virtual assistants (VA), aspiring virtual assistants and people looking to partner with a VA. This was mainly for fun and to help share information with others in the industry.

This was a year-long volunteer position overseeing the day-to-day operations of the IVAA, a trade organization for Virtual Assistants with over 1000 members. (http://www.ivaa.org)

I handled all office needs, including completing and having the customers sign all closing paperwork for purchases. I also handled all incoming service calls, including ordering parts and scheduling. I assisted the manager with reading the financials for our location and making suggestions.

"This is where it all began...."Oversaw all office and bookkeeping functions for this Hawaii-based construction company. I computerized a lot of the forms and functions of the company. I will always be grateful to Randy Lau and his wife, Sarah, for taking a chance on a young yet ambitions young lady. Sarah truly took me under her wing and taught me bookkeeping from the ground up. I fell in love with the work and took course work at a college there.

This was a part-time, after school position and my very first work experience. One of our neighbors, Grace, was a regional manager and needed help with everything from inventory tracking to entering expenses into her books. This was back when we used those big green binders and not computers for bookkeeping :)
