I am an agriculturist by education and research experiences. My research interests include intellectual property rights, public policies, and agricultural production, and, together with several colleagues, I was able to publish articles and earn several awards related to these. I am the first and only patent agent in the Philippines who is registered in both chemical and non-chemical fields. I am also a freelance writer, and I maintain an agricultural column in a local regional newsweekly since 1997.
